Customer Service Coordinator

DallasWylde Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a leading residential developer to recruit a Customer Service Coordinator to join their team, based in Hertfordshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and customer-focused individual to play a pivotal role in delivering an outstanding aftercare experience to homeowners.
The Role
As Customer Service Coordinator, you will act as the first point of contact for customers reporting defects or raising general queries following legal completion. You will coordinate remedial works between homeowners, subcontractors, maintenance operatives and internal teams to ensure issues are resolved efficiently and within agreed service level time frames (target resolution within 30 days).
In addition, you will provide vital administrative support to the wider Customer Service team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all incoming calls and email enquiries relating to live developments via Salesforce CRM and the Natterbox telephony system
- Coordinate remedial works with customers, nominated subcontractors, maintenance operatives, suppliers and NHBC to ensure timely and professional resolution
- Escalate complex or high-risk cases to the Customer Service Manager and relevant internal departments
- Maintain clear, consistent communication with customers throughout the defect resolution process
- Produce weekly progress reports on caseloads, demonstrating measurable week-on-week progress
- Manage and coordinate diaries for Maintenance Operatives and Customer Service Managers to ensure efficient scheduling of appointments
- Provide general administrative support to the Customer Service function as required
About You
We are seeking an organised, proactive and resilient individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage a high-volume caseload with minimal supervision.
Previous experience within customer service is essential, ideally within property, construction or housebuilding (although this is not essential). You will be confident managing competing priorities while maintaining a calm and professional approach.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Proven experience delivering outstanding customer service
- Basic understanding of the housebuilding or construction process (desirable)
- Strong IT proficiency including MS Office and CRM systems (Salesforce experience advantageous)
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Ability to work under pressure and manage a busy workload
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
